Penang Hill...

Sorry for not putting dis up earlier... cos it wz bout 2 days ago I came back from penang... really no time nowadays... quite busy haha...

Anyways, my trip to Penang dis time wz not really for fun oni sake... it wz to try n get a dying, kena cancer person to come to know christ... but we did hav fun aso lar... canoing and all... haha...

Of all the times I have went to Penang, I have NEVER been to Penang hill... and dat wz the first time I went up... with my sis... (we kept asking our dad y we have NEVER been up b4... haha...)

It wz really nice, especially the scenery. We went up this train-cable transport thingy, and it wz sure slow and stuffy...

The train-cable transport... really freaky cos it feels like it's gonna break any minute... haha

We went up and up and up, about 600++ metres above sea level... And the thing wz we had to change trains halfway, cos apparently the cable wasn't long enough to reach to the top... haha... but it began to get cooling after about 300++ metres above sea level... And when we reached the top...

The Penang Hill landmark... in BIG BIG letters...

Than it wz time for lunch!! After overlooking the view for about 30 minutes, we had lunch in this super super super super expensive (The mineral water wz 10 bucks!!) meal on a very high "platform" overlooking the whole of Penang... It wz a nice meal though expensive, a very relaxing moment, looking at the view, enjoying the cool weather and feasting on expensive food... it wz rather worthwhile...

The restaurant on the "platform"... rather like a smoke-house then a restaurant... haha...

The wondrous pond in the middle of the grassy area... the lotus there are really magnificent...

The really breath-taking scenery... from high high above... can see the whole of Penang...

After a glorious lunch, we went sight-seeing... on bikes... mountain bikes... And it wz REALLY tiring... try riding up and down a hill... with curves and bumps and almost 20++ kilometres long... tired out after dat... my sis was aching already after dat, and we wait for my mum and my sis to wheelie their bikes back...

There wz dis canopy walk on the way... but it wz closed for repairs, or else we would have gone on it for sure, it looked so fun... haha...

Well... that's it for Penang Hill... Will post one more on the beachside and bayview soon...
